For larger spider veins, the Sclerotherapy treatment is most effective. A number of tiny injections of a substance called Sodium Tetradecyl Sulphate are administered into the vessels which closes off the veins over time. Compression stockings must be worn after Sclerotherapy for minimum of 4 weeks for best results
