What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is upsetting, stubborn and mysterious. Irksome and unpredictable for many men, the condition rears its red, bumpy head only intermittently at first, before improving again. This causes confused sufferers to delay treatment in the early stages of the condition – we find that men are more reluctant than women to visit a medical professional for skin and body woes. However, we know that rosacea will significantly worsen if not treated, with skin becoming more inflamed, flaky and flushed. Some men have resorted to using cosmetic concealer in an attempt to reduce visible redness.

Studies have proven that the sooner a treatment plan is established and put into action, the better your recovery from rosacea will be. The treatment plan is three-fold; diet management, VBeam treatments and skincare vigilance.

The best in-clinic course of action against rosacea for men is VBEAM Perfecta.

Exceptional Results for Rosacea and Redness

What does it treat?

There is no better treatment for reducing skin redness than the VBeam laser.

It is unique in its ability to correct uneven skin tone, and the stimulation of collagen results in a lasting effect. There is a broad spectrum of indications for the VBeam. It guarantees superior relief and rejuvenation for patients with the following concerns:

  • Rosacea, papular and pustular – greater than 80% improvement seen in studies Small red capillaries associated with uncontrollable flushing
  • Spider veins
  • Red birthmarks (port wine stains)
  • Stubborn warts, scarring and bruises
  • Discolorations from sun damage on the neck and chest Red stretch marks

What is it?

VBeam is a gentle, pulsed dye laser; energy is emitted in pulses, and a dye is used to generate laser beams of different colours. It is also referred to as a vascular laser as it is used to treat red discolorations.

How does it work?

The laser is fast and low on the pain scale. The beams specifically target only the red pigment in blood, haemoglobin, and the surrounding skin remains unaffected. This makes it an ideal, targeted treatment.

What is the downtime?

The laser was developed to minimise bruising. Minor swelling and light pink bruising may occur in some patients for a few days post-treatment; this is normal and temporary. Other patients skin returns to normal just hours after VBeam.

Vascular conditions require a series of treatments a few weeks apart: while one treatment will yield a difference, a dramatic decrease of redness can be seen from 2-4 VBeam sessions.

What is the cost?

From 450 Euros.
